My name is Lee Ester Thompson; I am a native of Woodville, Mississippi. I was the third born child to my parents Nolan and Nancy Johnson. I am married to Phillip Thompson, Sr.; I am the mother of two children, and grandmother to three children. We live in a small rural community located in the outer city limits of Woodville.

 

I graduated from Wilkinson County High School, and after twenty-five years I enrolled in college at Alcorn State University. My major is Elementary Education.

 

The Wilkinson County School District has been my job site for the past 13 years. I am presently employed as an assistant teacher. My duties include tutoring my favorite students, third graders.

 

I plan to receive a Bachelor of Science degree and then a Masters degree in Elementary Education and in the year of 2006, I plan to become Superintendent of Education for the Wilkinson County School District.
